Small Boats Head – Entries Update
The provisional start order of the 2017 York Small Boats head is now available on our events page. We’re expecting a clear cold day so please ensure all crew members are wearing suitable kit, especially for the marshaling area. Small Boats Head – Entries Now Open!
We now have over 300 entries, Division 1 is full, Division 3 is nearly full, there is plenty of space in Division 2 – entries close at 10am on Sunday, so get yourselves to BROE asap!

Good news, the Environment Agency has advised that the Ouse will continue to fall and should be about level with the towpath by morning and continue to fall during the day. That means we can run the event in full.

The outlook for tomorrow’s event is still very much in the balance. The Ouse in York is falling nicely, now 1.64m, down from last night’s high of 1.9m. The provisional start order and supporting information is now available on our Events page. Final start order with boating locations will be published this Friday (18/11/2016). We expect the river to be a good height but possibly cold, breezy and a bit wet!
