York Autumn Sculls

The 2019 York Autumn Sculls will take place on Sunday 29th September 2019.

The Autumn Sculls are a chance for early season head racing in small boats, ideal for setting a benchmark for the season ahead. Events for most boat classes in 2 divisions over 4,500m downstream from Rawcliffe Landing near the bypass bridge to the Old Boathouse just above Scarborough Railway Bridge in the city centre.

**** 2019 Autumn Sculls Cancelled ****

The York Autumn Sculls meeting has had to be cancelled due to a prediction of excessive river levels to be able to run the event.

We have timed making this announcement to have clear predictions including from the Environment Agency but we hope allowing time for you to stand down your arrangements. We are sorry for this cancellation but nature is taking its course. All entry payments will be refunded. Payments made through BROE are to be refunded through BROE.

We hope for better for our SBH 17th November and to see you then. If in the meantime you want to race then consider Head of the Don Sunday 6th October.
