The 2020 York Autumn Sculls event has been cancelled
Unfortunately York Autumn Sculls 2020 (originally scheduled for 26/09/20) has been cancelled due to Covid-19 restrictions.
The Autumn Sculls are a chance for early season head racing in small boats, ideal for setting a benchmark for the season ahead. Events for most boat classes in 2 divisions over 4,500m downstream from Rawcliffe Landing near the bypass bridge to the Old Boathouse just above Scarborough Railway Bridge in the city centre.
A time trial with limited numbers will be run on Saturday 26th November in accordance with British Rowing’s current guidelines on Intra-Club competitions. Start Order and important documents are below. Competitor’s instructions must be adhered to for the safety of participants, volunteers and the general public.
The river will not be closed. Steers must keep a good look out at all times and obey standard navigation rules.
